Marissa and Kanu had the most fabulous wedding in Turks and Caicos which I can’t wait to share with everyone. After I got back from their wedding, I was trying to convince all my engaged friends to do a destination wedding! :)There is SO much that goes on during a wedding day AND it goes by in a blink of an eye. So wouldn’t it be wonderful to have several days to soak in the excitement, be able to really catch up with all your guests and do it all in paradise? Good food, dancing under the stars, the melodic crashing of the waves, everyone in vacation mode…Could not be more brilliant.
I was so happy when Marissa and Kanu opted for a portrait session before their wedding day. We chartered a private boat and explored some deserted islands. As you can see, these two are so happy, laid back and in love…a complete joy to photograph. They laughed, frolicked and just enjoyed each other’s presence with nothing around them for miles and miles. With the beautiful sun setting behind us, we headed back to the hotel where they were joined by friends and family for their gorgeous rehearsal dinner on the beach. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
